About Us
Our Mexican restaurant was originally founded in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in May of 1992 , opening its doors in August 1992 . In June 2008 it was decided to close and continue this dream in the United States. Undecided where to start John and his son John Jr. met Rich and Kelly Kent who were very excited about the idea and invited us to visit Waverly Tn. Needless to say we fell in love with this small town. After talking it over with his wife Yonaira Hernandez they decided to make the move. Yonaira joined the team back in March 1994 when her and John got married and decided to continue this beautiful dream. Yonaira Hernandez graduated from law school in the Dominican Republic and handles the front end of the business while John handles the back end. Our owner, John S. Reveles a New Mexico native, graduated from PUCMM University in Santo Domingo with a degree in Culinary Arts. Together, John and Yonaira have been culinary judges in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
